Matthew Wilcock is a British artist and composer whose work moves between gallery based audio-video installations and electronic, experimental and classical music. Moving between the studio and gallery, Matthew is interested in sound worlds that explore memory, politics, patterns and the relationship between digital media and lived experience. Matthew scored the BAFTA nominated film “Apostasy”, the Palm D’or winning Short Film “Waves ‘98”, was responsible for the AVAS sound for the TFL London Bus and has developed UI/X sounds for Microsoft. Matthew is a founder of the revered music and sound studio “Zelig Sound” and the record label “Super Generic”.
